50 CINEMATIC AI VIDEO PROMPTS

Stop guessing. Start generating prompts that actually look like cinema.

50 ready-to-paste prompts for AI video, built on the six-part pattern that separates a clip people stop for from one they scroll past. Copy, swap the words in brackets, generate.

Instant PDF download · Works with Kling, Runway, Luma, Veo and anything that takes a text prompt.

Your tool isn’t the problem. Your prompt is.

Most people type “a woman walking in the rain, cinematic” and get something that looks like a screensaver. Warped hands, a camera that drifts nowhere, a mood that never arrives.

The tools are good enough now. What’s missing is the instruction. A prompt that works tells the model six things, in order: who, doing what, where, how the camera moves, how it’s lit, and in what style. Leave one out and the model fills the gap with an average of everything it has ever seen — which is exactly what “generic” looks like.

Writing those six parts well, 50 times, for 50 different moods, takes weeks of trial and error and a lot of wasted credits.

That’s the work this pack has already done.

50 prompts, five categories, one pattern.

PROMPTS 01–10

Cinematic moods and lighting

Rain, golden hour, neon night, fog. The shots that set a tone in two seconds.

PROMPTS 11–20

Characters and emotion

Faces that act. Close-ups, reactions, the moment something lands.

PROMPTS 21–30

Micro drama scenes

Built for 9:16 vertical series — the format pulling the biggest numbers right now.

PROMPTS 31–40

Epic worlds, nature and aerial

Drone rises, mountain mist, scale that makes a reel feel like a trailer.

PROMPTS 41–50

Style transformations

Anime, 3D, watercolour. Six for video-to-video on your own footage, four for image-to-video.

Plus

• A camera move cheat sheet — the move names the models actually recognise, and what each one does to a shot
• Pro tips on keeping one character consistent across every shot in a scene
• A plain-English licence section, so you know exactly what you can sell

Every prompt has the swappable words marked in gold brackets. You’re not reading someone else’s prompt — you’re changing four words and making it yours.

Made for people who’d rather be posting than experimenting.

This is for you if

• You’re a content creator who wants to post AI video weekly without burning a weekend on each one
• You run a small business and want product or brand clips without hiring a crew
• You’re an editor or videographer adding AI to what you already sell
• You’ve tried AI video, got something mediocre, and suspect you’re doing it wrong

This isn’t for you if

• You want the tools themselves — this is prompts, you bring your own generator
• You’re already writing six-part prompts from memory and getting what you picture
• You want a done-for-you video rather than the method to make your own

CREATED BY DINX

I’m Dinx, a videographer and motion designer in Singapore. I’ve spent years lighting and framing real shoots, and the last stretch working out how to get the same look out of a model instead of a camera. These are the prompts I use.

US$12. Less than one month of any AI video tool.

One generation run that goes nowhere costs you more in credits than this pack. Fifty prompts, used once each, is fifty clips you didn’t have to invent from scratch.

US$12 · one payment · instant PDF download

If the prompts don’t give you something you’d actually post, reply to the receipt within 14 days and I’ll refund you. No form, no questions.

Questions

Which AI tools do these work with?

Any generator that takes a text prompt — Kling, Runway, Luma, Google Veo and the rest. The prompts describe shots, not button presses, so they survive the tools changing every few months.

Do I need to pay for an AI video tool as well?

Yes, though most have a free tier that’s enough to work through the pack. This is the instruction set, not the generator.

I’m a complete beginner. Will this make sense?

If you’ve made one AI clip, you’re ready. If you haven’t, start with the free AI Video Starter Kit first — it covers the workflow these prompts sit inside.

Can I use the videos commercially?

You can sell and monetise what you make. What you can’t do is resell the prompt pack itself. The licence section inside spells it out in plain English. Check your generator’s own terms too — those vary by tool, especially for music and voices.

What format is it?

A PDF, 9 pages, download straight after payment. Read it on a phone, a laptop or print it.

Your next clip could be the one people stop for.
